But let's assume for a minute that there were no grammatical mistakes. Why would you assume that there even is some error to find? Do you think you owe someone some amount of time for this?
This is more of a general peeve. I'm really confused as to why people keep sending these things around, asking their friends (and eventually, total strangers) to solve them, even though some of them don't even have solutions.
And yet, like a bunch of sheep, we start racking our brains, because we want to be one of the clever people...the people who weren't fooled. Does anyone ever put a moment's thought into these things? Stop, think a minute, and say "Wait a minute. There's no reason why I need to put any effort into this at all. I have better things to do. Plus, this whole riddle may be complete BS. I don't know the person who created it. I don't know he's some jerk who enjoys messing with people's heads. What point is there, really, in putting any effort at all into this stupid thing?"
Why do people feel the need to try and solve puzzles simply because they're there?
