Je pense que Veuverouge voulait dire qu'il va acheter Vampire the Masquarade Nouvelle édition et non pas Vampire Requiem.

En fait, si vous avez lu les romans de chaque clan pour VtM (qui constitue donc une histoire en 13 volumes), l'impression qui plane, c'est que les vampires sont des pions des Mathusalems ou des Antediluvians. Bref, il y a un genre d'esprit de paranoïa en plus de la guerre de faction et des magouilles politiques, car c'est surtout cela VtM, de la magouille politique, rarement des combats ouverts, car ils sont trop mortels. Il est préférable d'éviter les combats et d'user de ruse pour faire sa place. En ne sachant jamais qui manipule nos actions et nos décisions.

Juste avant la sortie de Requiem, canoniquement, il me semble que Gehenna (la fin du monde/retour des antediluvians) s'est produite. D'ailleurs, le dernier livre de VtM se nommait Gehenna. C'est pour ça qu'ils ont dû changer le lore pour Requiem, ça se devait d'être un nouveau jeu qui reprennait certains éléments, mais pas tous.

"Gehenna is the time when the Antediluvians (the grandchildren of Caine, the first vampire) will rise to consume the blood of all the younger vampires and construct a city in which they will rule for one thousand years. The prophecy of Gehenna is most thoroughly detailed in the Book of Nod, the story of Caine's banishment and cursing by God. There are also portents found in the Book of Nod, claiming the coming of the "Dark Father" and the "Dark Mother". Who these are is uncertain, but it is believed these two figures could be the mythical Caine and Lilith, respectively.
