Un jeune homme plutôt timide s'enhardit un beau matin et s'en va demander la main de sa fille à un père plutôt grincheux.

-Ah ! Ça jamais! répond le père. Je ne veux pas voir ma fille gâcher sa vie auprès d'un imbécile!

Alors, le jeune homme rougissant, bafouille:
-Moi non plus, monsieur c'est justement pourquoi j'étais venu vous demander sa main.
